CoME VISIT FAIR HAVEN, NEW YORK

The village of Fair Haven, New York has been welcoming visitors to the shores of Lake Ontario for over 100 years.  Pleasant Beach Hotel is right on the shore of Little Sodus Bay just a block off Main Street. A great place to come by land or sea! Once, tourists could ride an excursion train or come by steamboat.  Now most people drive here or bring their own boats.  It is still a popular destination for travelers from across New York,  and around the world. #destinationfairhavenny

THE WATER

Our bay is 2 miles long and 3/4 of a mile wide and has breakwaters leading to Lake Ontario and the world beyond.  Fair Haven is home to a large fleet of charter fishing boats with captains ready to take you out and show where the big fish are. We also have several marinas and launch ramps for those who have their own boats. On any summer afternoon you will see not only fishermen on the bay, but also sailboats big and small, jet skis and water skiing, canoes and kayaks, pontoon boats, wind surfers, Fair Haven is all about the water.
